Before the stars descend on Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater for the 2016 Oscars Sunday night, Hollywood elite will pose for photos in their red carpet finest. From stunning gowns to risky ensembles, Oscars style is its own race to the top of the best-dressed lists.

In honor of the fashionable evening, let’s take a look back at the five most searched Oscars red carpet outfits, according to Google.

1. Anne Hathaway, 2013 Oscars

Hathaway, who took home the honor of Best Supporting Actress for her turn as Fantine in Les Misérables, opted for a simple Prada column dress in pale pink. The choice was not without drama, as the star later told Harper’s Bazaar it was her back-up option after learning her initial pick had already been worn and her second choice was too similar to the gown costar Amanda Seyfried was going to wear to the event.

2. Jennifer Lawrence, 2013 Oscars

Lawrence had her Cinderella moment at the 2013 Academy Awards, when she won her first Oscar, taking home Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. She also stunned in a glamorous gown on the red carpet, taking a show-stopping strapless Dior Haute Couture dress straight from the runway at Paris Fashion Week. The voluminous, romantic gown only added to the fairy tale plot as the star famously tripped and fell on her way to the stage to accept her Oscar.

3. Jennifer Lopez, 2012 Oscars

Lopez went bold at the 2012 Academy Awards in a daring custom-made Zuhair Murad dress. The metallic nude gown featured cutouts and sheer panels, and led to a talked-about near-wardrobe malfunction. While presenting at the awards show, Lopez had what many saw as a nip slip, but her stylist, Mariel Haenn, later told EW in a statement, “The dress fit perfectly to her every inch. There were cups built in and there’s no chance that there were any how do you say? ‘Slips.’ While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, jokes on everyone who wishes they saw something!”

Never one to shy away from an eye-catching style, Oscar winner Nyong’o turned heads in a detailed white gown constructed entirely of pearls. The actress wore the Francisco Costa creation to present at the show, but the look created even more chatter once the evening wrapped. Reports surfaced that the $150,000 gown was stolen from Nyong’o’s hotel room soon after, leading to an investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow, 2012 Oscars

A presenter at the 2012 Oscars, Paltrow stole the show in a chic white gown. The Tom Ford number included a floor-length cape and created enough red-carpet discussion that Paltrow later wrote about the outfit in her Goop newsletter. “I’m lucky enough to work with stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, who did a stellar job finding such a wonderful Oscar dress this year,” she wrote. “Ordinarily, in preparation for an event, she’ll work with no more than four specific designers to gather several viable options. This requires months of work, phone calls, meetings, and many long conversations.”
