The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences won’t be leaving its East Coast and European members out in the cold come Oscar night. The organization announced Wednesday that it will host live viewing parties in New York and London for the Feb. 28 ceremony.
The London soiree will be held at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho and will feature a midnight feast and espresso martinis. (Given that the red carpet starts at midnight local time, the caffeine could come in handy.)
The New York gathering will take place at the Rainbow Room, which is perched on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan. The past three years, the Academy has hosted a single viewing party at the New York restaurant Daniel.
The 88th Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, with Chris Rock hosting. Here’s the full list of nominees.
