Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, Creed star Michael B. Jordan, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens breakout Daisy Ridley are among the latest round of presenters tapped for the 88th Oscars ceremony.
Also presenting will be Patricia Arquette, Abraham Attah, Emily Blunt, Louis C.K., Common, Russell Crowe, Chris Evans, Jennifer Garner, Louis Gossett Jr., Rachel McAdams, Dev Patel, Eddie Redmayne, Sarah Silverman, and Sofia Vergara, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Friday.
“Through their work, these artists have shown us the unique, transformative power of cinema,” show producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin said in a statement. “We are delighted they will be joining us on the Oscars stage this year.”
As with the two previously announced groups, the new presenters represent an inclusive cross section in terms of race, gender, and age. Earlier this week Hill pledged that despite the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, this year’s show “will be the most diverse ever.”
The Oscars air Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. ET on ABC. See the full list of nominees here.
